Figurine "Svend" Viking Defending with Sword and Shield

€75

His name says it all "Young Warrior." He is either very successful, or comes from a family that can afford the expensive armor he wears. Chain mail is recorded in old Norse tales and extant examples have been part of grave finds, although relatively rare. It is hard to know how common it really was, but we know it had been in use for hundreds of years prior to the Viking age. In addition to his sword, he is armed with the short seax hanging from his belt, a weapon almost universal to Germanic people since Roman times.
