Map Great War 1914-1918

On the occasion of the centenary of the First World War, the IGN (Institut Géographique National) published the map of the "Great War 1914-1918" which covers the entire front area from Switzerland to the North Sea at a scale of 1: 410 000 (1cm=4.1km). This map presents the front lines, places of memory (memorials, military cemeteries, old defensive works, museums), battle sites and remembrance trails. Produced in partnership with the Mission du Centenaire, the regional and departmental tourism committees of the regions and departments covering the front zone, this map offers a trilingual legend: French, English and German.
