La Chanson De Roland

Inspired by the Battle of Roncesvalles (778), La Chanson de Roland turns this episode into a great legendary fresco. Betrayed by his father-in-law Ganelon, the knight Roland, commanding the rearguard of Charlemagne's army, is ambushed. As his friend Olivier urges him to sound the horn to raise the alarm, will the proud Roland condemn his troops to destruction?
